Kanye West Harper’s Bazaar Magazine Angel Painting Blog

Kanye’s blogging again-and as usual he isn’t happy. This time it’s Harper’s Bazaar that has the Chicago-born rapper’s backbag in a bunch. Kanye’s upset with the style mag’s take on an angel painting plasted on the ceiling of his home:

“And on the dining-room ceiling, what looks like an ode to the Sistine Chapel: a painting of West flying among angels by artist Ernie Barnes. ‘I asked for angels, and he put me in there,’ West explains a bit bashfully.”

In a blog entry posted Sunday, West writes: “To put it short as Kanyely possible (don’t mean to speak in third person)…. Harper’s Bazaar came to my home, took pics, asked a lot of questions and then assumed the painting in my dining room was of me as an angel. This isn’t true and it bothered me greatly because people think I’m so so so cocky that I would have something like that. … I guess it’s bittersweet, you spend half your life trying to become larger than life and the other half trying to just live a real life again.”

In other Kanye Meltdown news, the musician’s management team has insisted he enroll in anger management classes, said a new scoop from the Chicago Sun-Times on Friday.
