Justin Timberlake’s offer to perform a romantic serenade at rumored former flame Scarlett Johansson’s forthcoming wedding to actor Ryan Reynolds have been harshly rebuffed by the groom.

“Scarlett was totally psyched when Justin called! She actually couldn’t wait to tell Ryan-but she sure didn’t get the reaction she expected,” says a National Enquirer insider.

“No way. He’s not singing at MY wedding!” Ryan fumed when his “Anywhere I Lay My Head” singing fiancee presented the idea to him.

A furious Ry even suggested Justin take the stage with his former fiancee, singer Alanis Morissette, during his and Scar’s wedding reception:

“How would you like it if Alanis sang at our reception? Hey, maybe she could do a duet with Justin? Wouldn’t that be great!”

Scarlett cordially turned down J.T’s wedding performance invitation with a gracious “Thanks, but No, Thanks!”
