Justin Timberlake Mount Kilimanjaro—J.T. To Climb Mount Kilimanjaro
He’s climbed to the top of the charts as a boy bander and a solo artist, now Justin Timberlake is ready to tackle a new foe, Mount Kilimanjaro.
The pop star will attempt to climb to the top of the mountain in Tanzania, Africa, along with rapper Lupe Fiasco and singer Kenna, in an effort to raise awareness about global water crisis.
“I’ve been training four times a week to get my VO2 [oxygen consumption] levels up to expand my lungs,” Justin tells GQ Magazine. “We’ll climb for a week straight, carrying 30 pounds on our backs. It’s going to be intense, but it’s going to be so rewarding.”
“We’re going to be ready for it.”
