She may have more friends than any living person on Facebook, but teen sensation Justin Bieber has dethroned Lady Gaga as the most searched for celebrity on the internet.

The 16-year-old “One Less Lonely Girl” crooner is now the King of the Web — there are more searches for Bieber than anyone else in the world, including previous title holder Gaga.

According to AskJeeves.com, Bieber — who was discovered after his mother posted his singing performances on YouTube — is getting three times as many searches as soccer ace David Beckham, despite being relatively unheard of in the UK, The Telegraph said Wednesday.

“The Bieber is an online sensation so it’s fitting he now rules the search engines. It’s as though to millions he only exists on the Net,” a spokesperson for Ask Jeeves remarked.
