Justin Bieber sure knows how to make headlines: The tween idol was threatened with arrest after refusing to stay away from a planned appearance at a the Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, which turned into a riot when 10,000 fans showed up. Now the 15-year-old Canadian heartthrob is in the news again, this time after tripping onstage and fracturing his foot!

Justin — who is opening for country star Taylor Swift — had to had to cut his Monday night performance at London’s Wembley Theatre short after faulty footing lead to the mishap. He ignored the excruciating pain long enough to complete his track, before limping backstage to seek medical attention. Bieber was then taken to a local hospital by ambulance. The rest of the night was spent in the ER getting x-rays, followed by a cast.

Shortly after his fall, Bieber TwitPic’d an picture of his right foot in a cast and explained what happened.

“In the last song, “One Time,” I tripped over something… coming down the ramp and felt my ankle roll in a very bad way,” he tweeted after the show in the U.K. “Fractured my foot and had to finish the song on a broken foot. After I was done, I was in such pain I skipped the encore and got off stage and back to see the medics. [Taylor] came backstage to see me b4 I went to the hospital because she is awesome!”
