Is this the end of the road for Belieberism? Music manager Scooter Braun has suggested that his most famous client, Justin Bieber, take a year off from the spotlight following a tough 2013 for the crooner’s once clean-cut image.
Braun stopped by On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday morning to talk about Bieber’s career, as well as his concerns about the singer’s exhausting schedule.
“I’m telling him after this movie, I want him to take next year off and just take a break,” Scooter told Ryan, giving a nod to the pop star’s upcoming documentary film, Believe. “He can still live in the studio and work on the next album, which is what he wants to do, but I just want him to take some time to himself, so he can have that time alone cause he’s been working since he was 12 years old.”
Braun’s relaxation recommendation comes hot on the heels of an interview Justin did on L.A.’s Power 106 Tuesday, during which the teen heartthrob claimed he was “done with music.”
“Uhm, actually, I’m retiring man…People think I’m arrogant, I’m not, I’ve always been a caring and giving person. I’m here solely for my fans and for the music.”
