Before the late culinary expert Julia Child became known to the world as a leading foodie, she was a World War II-era spy. According to once secret files released by the National Archives on Thursday, the legendary lady chef worked as a spy for the Office of Strategic Services (predecessor of the Central Intelligence Agency), a World War II-era espionage agency, in 1942.
