Joshua Sacco Recites Kurt Russell “Miracle” Speech (YouTube VIDEO)
Five-year-old Joshua Sacco is the ‘Net’s newest YouTube celebrity.
After bonding with his dad, Jim Sacco, over Kurt Russell’s 2004 inspirational sports flick Miracle more than 150 times, little Joshua was able to begn performing scenes from the film. If you’ve never seen Miracle — which I haven’t — it’s based on the Miracle on Ice ice hockey game at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid.
Dad decided to film Josh reciting U.S. Hockey Coach Herb Brooks’ locker room speech, as performed by Kurt Russell. In July, Jim uploaded the vid to YouTube to share with family members. Three months, later the video is a viral hit that’s taken Josh all the way to The Ellen Show.
