In an exclusive interview with the British Mirror Josh Hartnett opened up about his 2006 breakup with sizzlin’ Scarlett Johansson.

Josh and Johansson were an item for about a year after meeting on the set of the box office bomb the Black Dahlia.

J.H describes the Scarlett split as “really painful.” He blamed the breakup on their careers: “It was difficult spending so much time apart with all our different commitments and both of us flying all over the world.”

“At the end of the day, we’re just ordinary people and it didn’t work.”

Mirror moles claim that for Josh Scarlett will always be “the one that got away.” “Scarlett was very much a one-off. She was independent, feisty and outgoing - everything he wanted. But the relationship just didn’t work out,” says a snitch.

“It’s taken a while but he’s getting over it now - he’s just immersing himself in work.”
