Jonah Hill “21 Jump Street” Movie

21 Jump Street, the 80s young adult crime drama that shot performers like Holly Robinson-Peete and Johnny Deep to celebrity status, is on it’s way to the big screen. Superbad star Jonah Hill is presently in talks to develop a motion picture for Sony Studios based on the television hit, industry insiders report.
According to a scoop from Entertainment Weekly:
The breakout Superbad comic and Judd Apatow acolyte is in negotiations to develop a movie adaptation of the popular ’80s TV show starring Johnny Depp. It hasn’t been decided whether Hill will actually star in the movie, but Sony confirms that he’ll work on the screenplay and serve as executive producer.
21 Jump Street aired on FOX from 1987 to 1991. The series centered on a group of rookie cops whose baby-faced appearances allowed them to help troubled teens through their undercover work in local high schools and universities.
