Jon and Kate Gosselin are negoitiating a deal to produce a television movie based on their hit TLC reality series, Jon & Kate Plus 8, which chronicles their lives are parents of eight children.

In a interview with PEOPLE last week, reality-starring mom Kate Gosselin painfully admitted that her marriage to husband of ten years, Jon, may not survive through the year after being consistently strained by reports of Jon’s alleged infidelity.

Nonetheless, we hear the troubled couple is anxious to immortalize the emotional hardships associated with their leap from obscurity to reality infamy in a small screen biopic.

According to The Chicago Sun-Times, there’s no word on what actors are being courted to play Jon and Kate in the movie, ”but it’s likely it will be two unknown actors, picked for physical similarities to the Gosselins…”

“Unknown…..kind of like Kate and Jon were before this all started,” says a Sun-Times source.
