I have watched this show since the beginning, i and i think it is a shame Jon and Kate couldn;t work this out. They always say they do what is best for the kids, and this is definately not a good decison on their part. Jon should have talked to Kate. And also Jon is being very immature. Right now it sounds like he is going to get re-married and he seems happy about the divorce. These poor kids! , if Jon and Kate really cared more about the children than themselves, they would find a way to work this out, even if it means closing the show and making their lives private again. What a shame …

it saddens me that the two of them could not work out their issues. divorce is tragic whether the couple has one child or eight. my heart and prayers go out to jon, kate, cara, madelyn, Joel, collin, aaden, hannah, lean, and alexis. jon and kate are great parents. its just very unfortunate they could not be great together.

I actually feel bad for Kate right now. She is the one that actually seems upset about this. Jon is acting very immature. Saying that he is excited for a new chapter in his life? Give me a break! He needs to man up and realize that even if he is only 32 years old her has brought 8 children into this world. Those poor kids!

i loved the show and what it represented. Family unity. although i cannot fault jon for being excited because lets face it, from what we see on tv kate isnt as nice as it seems, i just hope their kids will be alright and everything is fair as far as custody. Jon deserves someone that will treat him as if they are on the same level. Kate belittles him often. i wish them good luck in what ever they may do.
