Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Jon Gosselin will break his silence (When has shut up long enough to break his silence?) about his separation from estranged wife Kate in his first TV interview since the couple filed for divorce in June after ten years of marriage.

“I took a lot of abuse from her,” the reality dad tells Good Morning America’s Chris Cuomo in an interview that will air September 8 on ABC. “She called me, almost like, a lame fish … like, I wasn’t going anywhere,” Jon explains. “Well, excuse me, I’m having to take care of the kids. She’s on book tours, she’s doing all these other things. … I’m standing there like, ‘Your mom is gone again.’”

In the interview, Gosselin also reveals his feelings for girlfriend Hailey Glassman — the 22-year-old daughter of Kate’s plastic surgeon – explains why he’s hosting pool parties in Vegas; opens up about his bromances with Michael Lohan and Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier; and gives his takes on Kate’s relationship with her bodyguard Steve Neild.
