Is Jon Gosselin about to take a bite out of the Big Apple?

A unidentified spywitness tells Gawker.com that the embattled pop of Jon & Kate Plus 8 fame is in the market for an 8th floor bachelor’s pad in Manhattan’s famed Trump Towers.

The source writes:

I was at my friends apt at trump towers on 66th and riverside blvd….. we were in her apt… then left to go to dinner… in the hallway was the realtor of the building and she was with JON from jon and kate plus 8. It was CLEARLY him. He had bloodshot eyes. We all rode the elevator together. He was looking at an apt on the 8th floor.

Jon and Kate Gosselin, the First Couple of TLC reality TV. are expected to announce their pending divorce next Monday, after being embroiled in a mirage of tabloid scandals since April.

“Supposedly the apartment is a river-facing one-bedroom that has been for rent and rents at about $3200 a month,” a resident of the complex told Gawker. “It’s likely under 700 square feet.”
