Jon And Kate Gosselin Diss The Duggars — “They Seem Like Geeky People”

Today marks the 10-year wedding anniversary of TLC reality stars Jon and Kate Gosselin. What better time for former employees to dish even more of the dirt going on behind the scenes of television’s Jon & Kate Plus 8.

Acccording to one former Gosselin staffer Jon and Kate — whose own marriage is hanging by a thread — never miss an opportunity to make disparging remarks about fellow TLC reality family The Duggars.

Conservative Christians Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, stars of the network’s 18 Kids and Counting, are the proud parents of 18 children — with their first grandchild expected this fall.

As fans of The Duggars know, the family includes eight girls and ten boys, each with names beginning with the letter J. While loving, Jim Bob and Michelle raise their kids with a firm hand — all of the children are home-schooled and watch very little television. Internet access is also kept to a minimum in the old-fashioned household.

It’s all very “weird” if you ask Jon and Kate.

“Jon and Kate envy The Duggars because they seem so happy,” the former staffer blabs in the June 22 issue of The National Enquirer. “They’d always say The Duggars are so weird, and there must be something wrong with them. They don’t think anyone can be that normal.”

According to the former Gosselin worker, Jon and Kate often went even further with the Duggar digs.

“They’d say, ‘They can’t be real,’ or ‘They seem like geeky people,’ and ‘They can’t be that perfect. It’s impossible to be that happy!”

When Jon and Kate prove they can stay married and out of the tabloids for longer than a nanosecond. they will be free to cackle about other people’s families.

I am tired of hearing about Kate Gosselin, a no-talent waste if ever there was one. She doesn’t write her own books, she doesn’t create her own recipes, and she does not even mother her own kids. Michelle Duggar has more talent and integrity in a fingernail than Kate Gosselin will ever have.

Shame on Jon & Kate for not putting their children first. It appears to me that there hasn’t been enough counselling to decide whether a divorce is warranted. It seems to be all about the dollar that is to be made instead of a family to be kept together. Grow up people and work at keeping your family together. Its way to easy nowadays to throw in the marital towel.
God Bless your children, they will need it as they grow older and ask Mommy & Daddy why their family wasn’t worth fighting for.

Any woman who things she is the LORD of all in everything she does, needs to sit down and open her eyes and take a look at Michelle Duggar and see how her marriage and family really works. I was thinking the exact same thing as I was reading the article. Who are Jon and Kate to criticize the Duggars on anything? For one thing, Michelle Duggar respects, loves and adores her husband Jim Bob. Anyone can see it on her face when she looks at him and hear it in her voice when she speaks of him. Jim Bob respects, loves and adores Michelle as well. The couple are never heard scowling at each other or their children. I’ve never once seen either Jim Bob or Michelle treat their children as if they were a burden or a mistake!

The Duggar children also have been raised with respect , love and admiration. It’s obvious in the way they treat each other and their parents.

The Gosselins should have used the Duggar family as a role model for their own behavior and incorporated some of their values in raising their own family. For sure, Jon and Kate wouldn’t be in their current pit of misery had they done so!!!

Oh and Jon, Jim Bob Duggar has managed to be a good example to his children and not become so overwhelmed by fame that he had to go buy a sports car, pierce his ears and run around to the bars at night. I love the Duggar family. I think most of us envy their closeness and love for each other. Unfortunately, there are very few families that hold the values that they do. I would love to see more families like the Duggars. There would be less welfare, ignorance, and people would be responsible for their own actions.

There is a difference with the Duggars having their 18 children born out of 16 individual acts of love whereas the Gosselins had Jon go in to a room with a cup and a porn movie and then Kate was given the turkey baster.

How many of you out there wouldn’t love a helpful, loving wife or husband like Jim Bob and Michelle? I know I would. Perhaps I should move to Arkansas or one of the other family-value states.

I’m sorry but the duggars are just really weird and all of the controlling their children is not right at all. Any religion taken to it’s extreme is bad. Not allowing your children to dance? Not allowing your children to watch normal cable TV? Not allowing your children to date whoever they want as they like and without a supervisor? Everyone seems to be against Jon and Kate, who are you to judge how Kate has lived her situation? Her story is very personnal and instead of feeling for her and what she is going through you are judging her and the way she has chosen to raise her children.
