Public Enemies star Johnny Deppt talks reading, guitar, and painting — the things he counts among his favorite hobbies in the July issue of Vanity Fair — on newsstands everywhere June 9.

“What I love to do is paint people’s faces, y’know, their eyes,” he says. “Because you want to find that emotion, see what’s going on behind their eyes.”
