It sounds like an interesting project. Being a huge fan of the books, and a moderate supporter of the films, I look forward to Burtons take on it. I can only hope he doesn’t stray too far from the original story though I imagine he himself would undoubtedly have much respect for such a magical piece of work. If he were to perhaps further introduce the characters and bring cohesion to Alice’s seemingly random, bizarre experiences that other films portrayed as trivial, he could well be doing justice to a tale beloved by millions by awarding it the visual masterpiece it deserves.
