Johnny Depp will star as “Tonto” in a new motion picture remake of The Lone Ranger.

The Oscar-nominated actor is set to play the masked crusader’s legendary sidekick in an upcoming Disney adaptation of the Old West classic, the studio confirmed on Wednesday.
