John Travolta has joined the growing list of celebs doing their part to help the relief efforts in earthquake-ravaged Haiti. The Saturday Night Fever celeb flew supplies into the devastated island nation from his home in nearby Florida on Monday night.
The actor — who took his first flying lesson at 15 — equipped his Boeing 707 with four tons of ready-to-eat military rations, medical supplies, and a team of doctors and Scientology ministers.
“We have the ability to help make a difference in the situation in Haiti and I just can’t see not using this plane to help….”
John’s wife, actress Kelly Preston, joined him on the mission.
