Okay, so reading the responses to my comments only bears out what I said.

I have to first interpret the terminology that dem/libs use. People of wealth mean anyone who actually works a job and actually pays their bills. I own a home. It doesn’t matter how large or how small my home is, but the mere fact that I own a home makes me wealthy and a target of the dem/lib/socialist/communists. The goal is not to give everyone free medical, free homes, or anything free. The GOAL is to take everything FROM those targetted by the left. Everyone should be poor…except for them, of course.

We’re having a very stark demonstration of exactly what the dem/lib/socialist/communists want to do to this nation and business in our newest administration and the dem/lib Congress. In 70 days our government now owns the businesses, the tax payers are totally ignored as their taxes are being raised and raised and raised, and the President explains patiently how all of us are going to be paying more and more and more…as if we could afford it.

Christianity calls for each of us to help each other. Nothing in christianity says that we bankrupt governments or businesses in an effort to give people something for nothing. Even God explains that we have free will…something the dem/lib/socialist/communists demand be taken from us. By Christianity, I usually mean anyone who worships God…and that can be a Muslim or a Jew, because by denigrating the beliefs of the few, you are also denigrating the beliefs of the whole. I’m hoping that the whole begins to realize that sooner than later.

Why don’t you read your bible?
It is this type of ignorance, mainly speaking, that you don’t research anything, you just go by what your Pastor/Preacher/Minister or Fox News says.

The bible also mentioned keeping out of politics, also going into your innermost closet for prayer, rather than displaying it for all to see, because that is for your own self worth.

Conservative Christians as I have seen have very little real understanding or knowledge. They want things, “the way they were.” Meaning: turn back the clock to the time where they still had large power over, or were a better class, than anyone ‘not White.’ Such is the nature of folks that threw their fate in with Reagan, Bush, Buchanan, Friedman, Kudlow and the doctrine of the conservative. Blaming “Other Americans with little” for their ills, while praising people of wealth, “faith” and “compassionate conservatives”.

In the end though, the less educated and less inquisitive you are, the more likely you are to be roped into blaming someone like you in many respects for your lot in life.

Christianity it is not.

It is amazing that you are comparing the portrayal of Christians to that of the Jewish community during the Nazi takeover. What have Americans done to the image of the Islamic community since the attacks on 9/11? Think about it.

America is about freedom and choice. If someone raises their children correctly, the introduction of sexual education and possible distribution of condoms should not be an issue. At least they are being provided with the correct tools to make smart decisions at the point they feel necessary. It is a fact that condoms prevent pregnancy, it is a fact that birth control prevents pregnancy, and it is a fact that SAFE sex reduces the amount of STDs spread amongst those who are sexually active. Would you rather kids have no idea about their options?

People are supposed to be given choices in America. Kids are given the facts about sex, and it is up to the parents to foster that further at home (whether it be through more education or teachings of moral values).

I am not a Christian. I was raised Christian, but in recent times, I have become extremely disappointed with the religion. It is not right for any group of people to impose their views upon an entire differing community. When it comes to abortion, there should be a seperation of church and state… THAT is what America was founded on. Your ideals are not my ideals, just as mine are probably not yours. But that doesn’t mean that people should not at least get the choice. Some people have differing views on when life actually begins, so accusing someone of murder through abortion is a clear example of just how ridiculous this country has become.

I am just as American as you, and I am SICK of being told I am not just because I do not agree with the government or the religious direction this country has been taking. YOU should not be shoving your ideology down MY throat. Americans are people who came here from freedom of religion, for a successful life away from the clutches of tyrants, and for the seperation of church and state.

And despite what you may think, there is an extremely large number of us who are very UNgrateful for the way the elections have gone the past two times. I would never thank anyone who voted for Bush, because those who didn’t knew not to trust him again. Those who didn’t are equally as hard working as you like to paint yourself, probably even more so because we have had to put up with him for the past 8 years. You apparently had the ease of embracing him.
