John McCain Concedes Speech Video

Always a gentlemen, Senator John McCain conceded the 2008 election and congratulated President-Elect Barack Obama on becoming the 44th president of the United States of America in a speech from Arizona late Tuesday.
“His success alone commands my respect,” McCain told a crowd of his supporters. “This is a historic election and I recognize the special significance it has for African Americans.”
The senator then pledged to do everything in his power “to help him lead us” through any challenges ahead.
(Although I can’t support many of his conservative ideals, I actually like Senator McCain as a person; very brave and opinionated man he is.)
Let’s hope we’ve seen the last of Governor Sarah Palin. Good riddance!
