John Mayer and one-time daytime talk show hostess Ricki Lake have prompted rumors of a romance. The womanizing croonerconfessed he has a crush on the talk show host at a PR company’s Christmas party on Tuesday.

He told her, “I’ve had a crush on you for two years,” a mole dished to the New York Post.

The pair then exchanged numbers and have been texting one another all week.

Ricki Lake, who has struggled with a ballooning waistline for years, recently worked her way down to a sleek 123 pound frame.
