The Jonas Brothers love John Mayer so much that the acoustic musician leaves them tongue-tied.

Mayer’s longstanding reputation for douchery hasn’t stopped pop music’s most popular trio from counting the Grammy Award winning rock star as one of their favorite industry acts.

“It’s different kind of starstruck…You think to yourself, ‘Am I able to go up to this person and say hello?’ I had a moment about five years ago when we were at a meeting and John Mayer walked in,” says big brother Kevin.

“He was one of the reasons I started to learn to play guitar. When he walked into the room, I was too stunned to go up and meet him. After that, I thought to myself, ‘I’m never going to let that happen again.”
