John Mayer Jessica Simpson Dallas Cowboys Bad Luck Charm; John Mayer Blog Defends Jessica Simpson Against Dallas Cowboys

After once accusing her of stalking him (at least according to the Rumor Mill), John Mayer has defended his ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson against Dallas Cowboys fan claims that she is a bad luck charm.
On his official blog, John criticized Cowboys’ fans:
“I have never known anyone to have more pride in their home state and their upbringing in it than Jessica Simpson has in Texas,” he said.
“All witty barbs, blogs, and fashion policing aside, that girl loves Texas more than you know. It’s one of her most defining traits as a person. So please don’t try and take that away from her.
“I just thought it would mean something coming from the guy who has the absolute least to gain from this. And if I’m out of line in having written it, too bad. I can spare a Wednesday’s worth of bad press if it means sticking up for a good soul.”

there is a difference between stalking and not letting go. stalking has to do with someone you were never involved with or never wanted to be. having issues letting go has to do with self esteem, which is frequently diminished at the end of a relationship. eventually she got over him and moved on. sounds like he knows it was a growing phase thing to do with who she was at the time, but could see through her struggle to the good person she is at heart.
may they each have lovely perspective lives.
