John ‘The Ladies Man” Mayer and Jennifer Aniston are either expecting their first child together or engaged to be married–depending on which tabloid you read.

While Australia’s New Weekly claims Jen is pregnant, Star Magazine is reporting that the 39-year-old former Friends actress has suckered John into making a trip down the aisle by delivering an ultimatum the old-fashioned way; “Marry me or else!”

In the latest edition of Star, editors write:

After a barrage of romantic e-mails from him, “she said that she’d only take him back if they got married, and he agreed,” says a source. “They both know this is it. She wants to settle down, and finally, so does he. They’ve even talked about having a family, and John said that he couldn’t imagine doing it with anyone but her.”
