The Hogan family is facing legal action from the family of John Graziano, who was left seriously injured in the August 2007 crash involving seventeen year old Nick Bollea.

John’s parents, Edward and Debra Graziano, are suing Hulk Hogan and his estranged wife, Linda Hogan, for failing to prevent the car crash. According to court papers, filed on Monday in Pinellas County, Florida, the Grazianos accuse the Bollea family of being directly liable for the accident.

Nick was driving his father’s car at the time of the accident. He has also been charged with reckless driving involving serious bodily injury.

The Graziano family did not ask for a specific amount of damages but said John, a twenty-three year old former Marine, may need millions of dollars to pay for medical care for the rest of his life.

“He never will be fully the John he was before,” George Tregos, an attorney for the parents, said at a news conference.

John remains hospitalized with head injuries.
