New York Post sources are snitching that John Mayer and Jessica Simpson may not be the hottest new couple in Hollywood after all.

“John was extremely quiet and didn’t speak a lot, while Jessica “just gave a lot of puppy-dog looks and twirled and twisted her hair,” says a source who spotted the “couple” at Nobu, a South Beach hotspot.

And while touring with her supposed new beau in FL, J.S won’t be frequenting any of the spots that she hit up with first love Nick Lachey. John and Jess stayed at Miami’s Four Seasons Hotel rather than the Shore Club that she always stayed at with N.L.

“Jessica hasn’t been back to the Shore Club since she broke up with Nick,” a source told Page Six. J.S’s PR rep Cindi Berger says, “I will not comment on her private life
