Joel Madden has fueled the unofficially ‘confirmed’ rumors that Nicole Richie is with child after kicking smoking this week.

The Good Charlotte rocker says via Myspace: “On a positive note, it’s been seven days since I quit smoking, and I’m feeling great, having had one cigarette. I have had my moments - I get a little edgy - but I think the worst is over.”
