A Bel-Air, California police officer recently took Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden for ‘SexyBack’ singer Justin Timberlake.

It all started during an October 30th traffic stop, soon-to-be papa Joel was hoping his celeb status would get him out of a ticket-too bad the cop didn’t know who in the hell he is.

A Star Mag spywitness claims:

“Joel took off his sunglasses as if to say, ‘Don’t you know who I am?’ but the cop was not impressed.”

“The cop even asked a nearby photographer, ‘Who was that-Justin Timberlake?’”
