Joe Jonas Dresses As A Clown, Covers Adele’s ‘Hello’ (And It’s Awesome)

You probably haven’t heard of Joe Jonas’s low-key band DNCE, but now you will.

Bandmembers┬áJack Lawless, Cole Whittle, and JinJoo conconcted a wonderful stunt in honor of Halloween and making their band more famous. The foursome got all dressed up in clown apparel and full makeup, covering Adele’s new smash hit “Hello” complete with brooding vocals and soft musical accompaniment.

Joe’s sad clown getup is perfect for the mood of the song, lamenting a lost love (and maybe a red nose or two).

DNCE is comprised of three other musical members besides the Jonas brother. Guitarist JinJoo toured with Charli XCX, Jordin Sparks, JoJo, Ciara, and Cee Lo Green. Cole Whittle’s New York City band Semi Precious Weapons toured with Lady Gaga and Ke$ha. And Jack Lawless drummed for both the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato.

Joe Jonas’s new band is already shaping up to be a lot better than his first. Now, all we have to do is figure out how to pronounce its name.
