Joe Jonas Charity Race
Joe Jonas is running for a good cause.
The pop star will take part in a charity run in San Antonio, Texas later this month to raise money for the Jonas Brothers children’s charity and the Special Olympics.
The “Love Bug” singer is launching the iWin Joe Jonas Fun Run, 3.1 mile race which will benefit the band’s Change for the Children Foundation and Special Olympics Texas, which provides sports training for disabled kids and adults.
Joe will lead the runners in the August 13 race. Fifteen participants will be specially selected to run alongside the 19-year-old star.
“(Jonas) is a runner, and he wanted to do something that promoted health and got people moving. We’re very excited,” says Andi Baca Kelly, public relations coordinator for Special Olympics Texas.
