Kanye West has taken to his blog to apologize to Taylor Swift for a second time after ambushing her acceptance speech at Sunday night’s 2009 MTV Video Music Awards — but it’s too little, too late for notorious stage dad Joe Jackson, who believes the “Flashing Lights” star should face a lifetime ban from all entertainment events after his ridiculous display at this weekend’s ceremony.

West, 31, made international headlines when he took the mic from Swift declaring that it was Beyonce Knowles who deserved the moon man award. “Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time,” he said.

“I feel like Ben Stiller in ‘Meet the Parents’ when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave,” the rapper wrote in a second apology to Taylor on Monday. “That was Taylor’s moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry.”

The rapper apologized to the country singer, 19, the first time on his blog late Sunday night.

Joe was in the audience for last night’s live show and admits he was stunned by West’s outburst- particularly since the rapper had been talking to him just moments before.

He tells TMZ.com: “I had just gotten through speaking to him, he was introducing me to his girlfriend (Amber Rose) and then three minutes later he jumped up on stage. And people booed Kanye all night.”

The Jackson Family patriarch is calling for a permanent ban from future awards shows and events for Kanye — we second that!: “I don’t know what he was doing, he jumped up on stage and snatched that microphone out of that poor girl’s hand,” Joe remarked. “They should blackball him out of showbusiness for that. He just leapt (sic) up there; that was bad.”
