Joe Jackson’s new record label is about to sign up its first act….

Joe Jackson believes his grandchildren have the talent to follow in the footsteps of their superstar dad, Michael Jackson.

“I don’t know — I keep watching Paris,” the tough as nails patriarch remarked in an interview with Good Morning America on Friday. “She … wants to do something. Joe added that he and his wife Katherine — named as the chosen guardian for Prince Michael, 12, Paris Katherine Michael, 11, and Prince Michael II, 7 — should raise the kids.

(The kids would be better off being raised by Michael’s former pet chimp, Bubbles, than Joe Jackson. This callous old man has proven many times over that he doesn’t have the patience it would take to keep seamonkeys alive.)

“Their grandmother — Katherine — and I [should raise them],” Joe said. “Yes, there’s no one else to do what we can do for them. We should keep them all together and then make them happy, feed ‘em like they’re supposed to be fed, and let them get rest, plenty of sleep, and grow up to be strong Jacksons.”
