Oh my. My first reaction was amazement, my second pity, then on to anger and disgust. What I saw was an elderly man who clearly was not in possession of all his mental faculties. Dementia? Alzheimers? Yes, I did notice the $$$ signs in his voice. Yes, I noticed how uneducated he sounded. Yes, I noticed too his cold demeanor and also his excitement and pleasure at being the focus of television’s attention. The old boy was acting as if he were back in the ’70′s, promoting his kids once again! I DO wonder how mentally stable he really is. From my understanding, his wife is a Witness, and they do frown on divorce, hence her staying married to him. He acted as if he were at one big party, and even tried to introduce one of his cronies (Marshall? I dunno…he was cut off.) Pathetic about trying to plug his record label too, Blu Ray whatever too! I have a feeling that once all the dust settles and legalities are sorted out, Joe Jackson will finally fully reap what he had sown so many years ago. May the good Lord have mercy on him, because I seriously doubt the public–or the majority of his family–will.

Why was “we lost a great star” the first thing out of his mouth and not “I lost my son?” Not only that but he changed it to superstar as if it would be more appropriate. No! I lost my son would have been more appropriate. I never really knew how heartless Joe Jackson was until now. He even had a white lady reading a statement on behalf of the family? wtf? And to top it all off when asked about how the family was doing he plugs his record label? Oh and congratulations on noticing your son was alive last week by the way. You should get the father of the year award for that.

i think joe jackson is the root of all micheals hangups and none of his greatness.. when i think about what tender and sensitive michael suffered at the misuse of joe …..i cringe the fact that the jackson family has kept joe around at all speaks highly of them! i say feed him to captain hooks shark .

It took me a good long time to pick my jaw off the floor after hearing the most inappropriate plug I could have imagined. I had to ask if I had heard Joe Jackson correctly. How could anyone be so self-serving when they should have been in mourning?
Joe Jackson, you are despicable. Shame on you!!!
I think this so-called exciting new label should be boycotted!

Joe jackson showed himself to be a real BASTARD to come on television ,trying to plug is new label. His wife and family should divorce him ,like I think MICHAEL did. To not being able ,to gracefully accept this great man’s accomplishment,and shed some tears;only confirmed Michael Jackson ‘s story, about how hard it was growing up with that monster. America should turn their back and dont give him a moments notice. Please, dont let him comeback on tv with tears “it will only be CROCODILIAN”.

Michael will finally be understood. All of his statements will have exclamation points behind them and people are truly listening to him now. We do all need love and if people are too selfish to provide this basic human need we wind up on the dark side. Good came from the early pain and good will come from these late years of pain. I think michael is in touch with a human need that is universal need of all humanity. He was a very special person and more in tune to emotions than most. He was the creative derpessed type it seems and extremely creative yet extremely depressed. It was disappointing to see a record plug on bet. Again, it only puts more exclamation points on michaels words.
