Joe E. Tata “Nat Bussichio” New “Beverly Hills 90210″

Actor Joe E. Tata will reprise his role as Nat Bussichio, “the good guy, always there to help out,” on the new incarnation of Beverly Hills, 90210.

Joe played the owner of the Peach Pit Diner on the original series that aired from 1990 to 2000 on FOX. The seventy-one year old actor wrapped up his scenes for the pilot episode of The CW’s version of the hit primetime drama on Tuesday, but he is not sure if his character will remain a part of the series.
“The coin’s in the air for me,” Tata told The Associated Press. “I guess it comes under the heading of magic test: Let’s see if the audience still remembers me.”
The new Beverly Hills, 90210 debuts September 2nd on The CW Network.
“Cops and firefighters say to me, ‘I used to watch the show — I mean, my wife did, or girlfriend.’ But they knew more about the show than I did,” Joe added with a laugh.
