Jodie Foster Married Ellen DeGeneres’ Ex Alexandra Hedison
How’s this for a game of Six Degress of Celebrity Separation? Jodie Foster married Alexandra Hedison. Alexandra is the ex-girlfriend chat show queen Ellen DeGeneres. DeGeneres dumped Hedison for her now wife, Portia de Rossi.
Take notes, they’ll be a quiz on this later.
The Oscar-winning Jodie delivered a blink-and-you’ll miss it “coming out” speech while accepting a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards. The notoriously-private Foster said:
“This is not going to be a big coming-out speech tonight because I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the stone age — in those very quaint days when a fragile girl would open up to trusted friends and family and coworkers and then gradually proudly to everyone who knew her.”
Foster also thanked Cydney Bernard, her former partner, “righteous soul sister,” and mother of her two sons, Charles and Kit.
Foster and Hedison tied the knot over the weekend, following a courtship that lasted just eight months, according to the starlet’s spokesperson. Alexandra, a sometimes photographer who played Dylan Moreland on The L Word, first stepped out with Jodie last October. The romance with Foster is the first high-profile relationship for Hedison, 44, since her three year union with DeGeneres ended in 2004. Ellen quickly moved on with de Rossi.
