Joaquin Phoenix Retiring: Joaquin Phoenix Retires From Acting

Retirement at 34? Hey, when you’re rich, that can happen. And so it has for actor Joaquin Phoenix. The star announced his retirement from professional acting at a benefit for Paul Newman’s camps for kids on Monday.
The two-time Oscar nominee says he wants to turn his focus to the recording industry.
“I want to take this opportunity … to give you the exclusive and just talk a little bit about the fact that this will be my last performance as an actor,” Joaquin told Extra. “I’m not doing films anymore.”
“I’m working on my music,” he insisted. “I’m done. I’ve been through that.”
He’ll be back.

I wonder why he is taking retirement so early. I do believe its only beginning and he is taking retirement. I guess he will be giving more time to his first love, music. Best wishes!
