Jimmy Kimmel is engaged. The late night sidesplitter popped the question to his girlfriend Molly McNearney, 34, as they vacationed in South Africa’s Kruger National Forest earlier this month.

Kimmel and McNearney — a co-head writer on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! — have been an item since 2009.

The marriage will be the second for Kimmel. He was married to his first wife Gina from 1988 to 2002. That union produced two children.

The funnyguy famously dated comedienne Sarah Silverman on and off for several years until their split in 2009.
