Carrie & Co are going to love this — Jimmy Choo is releasing its first fragrance.
The legendary shoe company — a favorite of the shoe fetishists of Sex And The City – has inked a 12-year deal with Paris’ Inter Pafrums SA, which already has fragrance licenses with Burberry, Lanvin and Paul Smith. The French company will create and develop Jimmy Choo perfumes.
“It has always been my vision to fully accessorise the woman, and fragrance is an integral part of the modern wardrobe. I look forward to bringing this important aspect of my vision to life,” Jimmy Choo founder and president Tamara Mellon said in a statement Monday.
No details on when the scent will be made available.
This isn’t the company’s first attempt at branching out the luxury footwear brand. In June, Choo announced it was created a winter collection, to include footwear and bags, for H&M.
