The life of Muppets creator Jim Henson is to be turned into a motion picture. Golden Globe-nominated director Penny Marshall (Laverne of Laverne & Shirley ) is a favorite to direct the $30 million Henson biopic, entitled Henson, which will begin shooting later this year. Jim, an Oscar-nominated puppeteer, died of bacterial pneumonia on May 16th, 1990.
