Well, hello there, Lonesome Earl.
Safe to say we know where Jim Carrey stands on the issue of gun control in America. The actor-comedian has teamed up with The Eels and the team at Funny or Die for a satirical anti-gun song called “Cold Dead Hand.”
The clip debuted Monday and features Jim’s impression of the late actor Charleston Heston, who was president of the National Rifle Association. He’s later accompanied by the band for the performance of the country western-style song, which cautions against the dangers of gun possession.
“I find the gun problem frustrating and ‘Cold Dead Hand’ is my fun little way of expressing that frustration,” Carrey said in a statement.
