Jesus Luz discussed his relationship with Madonna on a Brazilian television chat show over the weekend, and the Material Girl may not be pleased to learn that the 22-year-old is referring to her as “just a friend” to anyone who will listen.

“She is my friend, only my friend,” the model said in his first TV interview on the Brazilian series Fantastico on Sunday. Although his own dad, Luiz Heitor Pinto da Luz, recently spoke to Quem Magazine about an upcoming kabbalah commitment ceremony between Jesus and Madonna, Jesus is emphatic that his relationship with Madonna is not a romantic one.

“Madonna is a person who I admire very much, a friend who has entered my life and [with whom] I keep in contact. I cannot say anything more than I don’t have plans of marrying her. I can’t say if she is the woman in my life,” he explained.

Jesus also tackled rumors that he is using the “Frankly, I never give importance to what others say about me. They can write that I’m a ‘toy boy’ or ‘boy toy.’ And I won’t care.”

Jesus Luz currently lives in Madonna’s Central Park West apartment, along with the singer and her three children. Earlier this year, Madge was credited with landing Luz several high-profile modeling gigs, including one with designer Marc Jacobs.
