Dating The Queen of Pop has its perks, but Jesus Luz is a career man. Madonna’s chiseled Brazilian boytoy recently launched his career as a DJ with a gig on the Atlantic City strip, and despite published reports, Luz insists Madge isn’t paying for his company.

“It’s good having two careers going on, modeling and DJing,” he told The New York Times. “I feel good.”

The 22-year-old model laughed off claims that The Material Girl was giving him an allowance and said that in Brazil he made $500 a day modeling. Now, he can get as much as $15,000 DJing for a 90-minute set.

“I’m laughing so loud,” he said of rumors he had an allowance. Jesus also set the record straight about the pronunciation of his name: “Zhay-Zoose. Loose.”
