Jessica Simpson has angrily dismissed a tabloid report linking her to Tiger Woods. The actress-singer is threatening legal action against Star Magazine after the magazine claimed Jessica flirted and exchanged numbers with the exposed adulterer when the two met at the AT&T National Pro-Am Tournament in July.

Jessica performed The National Anthem at the event, which she attended with then-boyfriend Tony Romo, but the star insists she never batted an eyelash at the insatiable Tiger.

“Can’t believe that I’m on the cover of Star magazine with Tiger Woods,” Jessica fumed on her Twitter page as the report made the rounds on the blogosphere Wednesday. “What a JOKE! “The Shocking Inside Story” is (insert drumroll) A LIE!”

A publicist for Simpson says the crooner is weighing her course of action against the tab.

“Literally the only thing that’s true in the story is the fact that they met. It was a quick meeting, and they posed for a photo together – that was it. Jessica’s lawyer is sending them a letter this afternoon.”
