The Jessica Simpson pregnancy rumors persist, with tattling tipsters now reporting that the star’s “ill-timed baby” is prompting the former reality star to crave corn chips dipped in chocolate.

Jessica, who is engaged to wed former NFL player Eric Johnson, had plan to get hitched next month, but keep changing the date of the wedding possibly due to the unexpected pregnancy.

Apparently, a baby bump and chiffon weren’t exactly the combination Jess was hoping for on the second biggest day of her life.

“It’s still early in the pregnancy, and Jessica has decided to wait before sharing her happiness with her fans. But she has begun telling family and friends the exciting news.”

Simpson has been keeping mum on the whispers about her occupied uterus for weeks, despite sporting a fuller-looking belly at a host of public events. The singer-turned-designer recently posed at a Macy’s promo affair with a baby — a move that only sparked more speculation.
