Jessica Simpson is in discussions with celebrity jeweler Pascal Mouawad to launch her own collection of jewels, featuring elaborately-designed wedding bands.

“Jess and her mom are really pushing the wedding rings. Jess wants her own line but Pascal isn’t so keen on that,” Fox News quoted a source as saying. “He wants to work with her, but definitely doesn’t think wedding rings would be appropriate for Jessica,” the spy added.

Jessica already lends her name to a line of designer-crafted handbags, swimsuits, and footwear. The singer-actress’ interest in wedding rings is believed to have been triggered after she attended a party at Mouawad’s home in Hollywood and fell in love with a $10,000 dollar 5-carat ring on display from his Black and White Diamond Collection.
