Jessica Simpson is celebrating the No. 1 debut of her first country album.

The “retired” pop singer’s country-inspired effort, Do You Know, landed atop Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart after selling 65,000 since its release last Tuesday.

“I’m extremely touched by the overwhelmingly positive response to the album,” Jessica says of the chart. “There is so much honesty and raw emotion in there. And, I’m just thrilled that country fans are giving it a chance!”
