Jessica Alba United Way Donation Following Billboard Vandalism
Jessica Alba has made a donation to the United Way in Oklahoma City, just days after she escaped criminal charges for attaching a protest poster to one of the charity’s billboards.
Jessica spent a month in Oklahoma City filming the upcoming movie The Killer Inside Me earlier this year. Last week, the Fantastic Four star, 28, publicly apologized for peppering Downtown OKC with posters aimed at raising awareness about the declining population of Great White Sharks. Police have said she will not face criminal charges for the property damage.
The United Way of Central Oklahoma announced Jessica’s donation on Thursday, according to The Associated Press.
Charity spokeswoman Erin Brewer says Jessica’s lawyer asked the charity not to disclose the amount, but added that the star qualified for a program that recognizes donors who give $500 or more. The charity has deemed the figure “generous” and “appropriate.”
