Actress Jessica Alba was recently voted one of the Most Desirable Women of 2007 by Askmen.com. But the screen stunner is spending much of her free time learning to live as a blind woman for her upcoming role as a blind violinist in the Tom Cruise produced The Eye.

The twenty-five year old actress has reportedly signed a $4 million contract for the feature role. Jess will play Allison, who receivedsan eye transplant that allows her to see into the supernatural world.

A remake of the Chinese cult classic Jian Gui, The Eye is scheduled to begin filming this month in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

“I’ve been training. I wear a sleep mask and carry a cane to get around with. I’ve also been practicing the violin – it’s hard! It took me three months to figure it out!”
