“Jersey Shore” Headed To MTV Italy

In the four months since its series premiere, MTV’s Jersey Shore has single-handly managed to anger some of the leading Italian-American interest groups in the country. Nonetheless, Venice and Rome are about to get a crash course in fist-pumping.

MTV Italia has purchased the rights to the first season of the controversial reality hit about a group of twentysomethings spending the summer in a popular New Jersey resort town, Variety said Friday.
MTV’s Italian affiliate will begin airing the antics of Snooki, The Situation, and the rest of the guidos and guidettes of Seaside Heights on Monday, March 22 @ 10/9c.
